About the Artist
“Library Dragon” by Lissanne Lake
Lissanne Lake is a full-time freelance illustrator, and has been one for over 25 years. She has created over 100 book covers, plus magazine covers, gaming card illustrations, and an entire tarot deck (the Buckland Romani Tarot) plus outdoor murals and figurine designs, and many other things. (Artists are a versatile lot!)

“The cover painting is ‘Eating Memory,’ showing the Native American coyote spirit on Mars, amid the bones of the world,” she wrote. “Partial inspiration came from Salvador Dali for the start of the idea of how to show memories being sown.”
