Mari Ness
He walked through the seas to her, foam piled on his shoulders, whales caught in his hands. She walked through the woods to him, arrows slung over her shoulders, bears caught in her hands. One arrow, shining against the foam. One cry, lost against the seas. She placed him, weeping, in the stars.

Her epic poetry novella, Through Immortal Shadows Singing, was recently released by Papaveria Press.
