Final Mythic Delirium submissions update

July 22nd, 2017 8 Comments

Hello, folks! To everybody who submitted stories and poems to us during the spring reading window: as of today, you should have received a response, whether it be rejection, acceptance, or a request for revisions. If you’ve gotten no response at all, you should send a query to mythicdelirium@gmail.com so we can figure out what’s up.

There will be no other reading window this year.

I’m really excited about the lineup that’s coming together. Next year, 2018, will be this zine’s 20th anniversary year, and I’ve got something special in the works to commemorate it. Nothing extravagant, just a little bit extra as a gift for our readers. Stay tuned, and if you’re interested in subscribing or feel a hankering to renew, you can do that here.

Check out our new issue here, with a new story by Rich Larson and poetry by Jane Yolen and Mari Ness.

I would like to submit some poetry for your next issues. How do I do that?

  2. It looks to me like the magazine never came back after 2017 based on my search for a submissions window. Are you still publishing the magazine here in 2021-22? If so, is there a submissions window coming up? Thanks.

    • Mike Allen says:

Dear Clarissa, Mythic Delirium magazine closed in 2018, as was widely reported. Mythic Delirium continues as a book publisher.

  3. Thanks for the information. I’m sorry to hear this news, however belatedly.

  4. James Ryan says:

Is the Mythic Delirium imprint currently seeking novels, and if so how would one submit their work?

  5. Mike Allen says:

Anyone wanting to send a query will get a much faster response using the “Contact” link above.
